Selection Criteria:

Applicants must pass the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) in order for admission to University's Integrated courses. As stated in the eligibility requirements for each course, it is required to select one language in section 1A and domain-specific subjects in section II. The university's CUET merit list will serve as the basis for the final selection.

There are 3 components on the CUET exam:

  • Section I is separated into 2 parts: Section IA and Section IB. In Section IA, candidates have to select one language from a list of 13 distinct languages, and in Section IB, they must choose one language from a list of 20 languages.
  • Section II: Candidates must choose no more than 6 domains from a list of 27 domains in this domain-specific section. Since these will be the determining element in their institution selection, candidates should carefully analyse their domain choices.

For its UG admissions, the University will be using CUET scores. Previous to filling out University application form through counselling rounds, candidates must first complete the CUET process until the results are announced. Applicants can apply to University by following the instructions below.

Scholarships at university

  • ST students' national fellowship: ST candidates whose family income is less than INR 6
  • L/A are eligible for the program.
  • College and university students' central sector scheme (CSSS): Students who are enrolled in a regular course, with a score in the 80th percentile or higher, and whose family makes less than INR 6 L/A
  • If students meet the requirements, students enrolled in their first year of UG studies at any CFEI outside of Jammu and Kashmir are awarded scholarships.
