Bangalore University Admissions 2024-25

Courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and diploma levels in a variety of subjects are offered by Bangalore University's distance education (DDE) and correspondence education department. Distance education is used to deliver these courses under the Correspondence and Open Admissions system. Applications are available in person at Bangalore University or over the mail for all courses provided by the DDE & Correspondence department. Additionally, the same can be obtained from Bangalore University's Distance Education (DDE) & Correspondence Department's official website.

  • Applications for MA, M.Sc., M.Com., and PG Diploma programs are open to those with a bachelor's degree.
  • While a pass in the X standard is required for certificate programs, 12th in the relevant subject group from an accredited board is required for BA, B.Com, BBA, and diploma programs.
  • Candidates are admitted based on their performance on the qualifying exam. The final choice is contingent upon document verification at Bangalore University, DDE.

Bangalore University's distance and correspondence education (DDE) program offers undergraduate courses in BA, BBA, and B.Com. and graduate courses in MA, M.COM, and M.Sc., as well as postgraduate diplomas in a number of fields.

Master's degree programs require a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, while BA, B.Com, and BBA programs require a 12th in a comparable field.

At Bangalore University, DDE, admission is entirely determined by merit and is followed by document verification.

Nutrition & Dietetics

Key Points:

  • The BA and MA programs are available in Kannada and English.
  • The only language given for B.Com, BBA, M.Com, M.Sc., and diploma programs is English.
  • A 5% reduction in the total score will be granted to those who took the qualifying test in 2010 or earlier (for admission to postgraduate studies).

University DDE Application Process:

    The following procedures can be used to fill out an offline application form for any course that Bangalore University DDE offers:

  • After paying INR 750, you can pick up the application form from Bangalore One Centers or State Bank of India.
  • In addition, the application form is available at the Bangalore University DDE office with payment of INR 750 via DD made payable to the "Finance Officer, Bangalore University" in Bangalore.
  • The application form is also available for download on the university's official website. The INR 750 application fee can be paid by DD and then submitted to the DDE address.
  • Get the application form by mail by mailing a self-addressed envelope (30 cm x 25 cm) to the DDE address with a DD of INR 750 and 200 INR postal stamps.
  • You can download the hall pass from Bangalore University's official website, DDE. To download the admission card, follow these steps:
  • Go to Bangalore University DDE/Correspondence's official webpage.
  • Click "Hall Ticket" and then "Fresh Hall Tickets" from the main menu.
  • Enter your degree, ID number, and year or semester.
  • Select "Download Hall Ticket" and store it for use in the future.

The following documents must be included with the application form:

  • Two current passport-sized photos
  • Original score cards from the qualifying test
  • original certificate of caste, if any
  • original certificate of service, if any
  • Age Verification (Passing Certificate for Class X)
  • Original Certificate of Migration (if applicable)
  • Certificate of No Objection (from the former institution)
  • One set of photocopies of the caste certificate and all of the mark cards
  • The finance officer's original official receipt
