Christ University Admissions 2024-25

Admission to University is done online through the university's official website for all campuses (Central, Bannerghatta Road, Kengeri, and Yeshwanthpur). Around 30 UG, graduate, and doctoral degrees are available at University in various fields, such as engineering, management, science, law, architecture, commerce, and the arts. The most enrolled and well-liked programs at University include the MBA, B.Tech, BBA, BCA, MCA, M.Com, and B.Sc.

 The University Entrance Test is the basis for admission to the majority of programs, including B.Tech, BBA, BCA, and B.Com. (CUET). Candidates must meet the minimum cutoff score or percentile in MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, or ATMA to be admitted to the MBA program. Many university's courses are also offered without an entrance exam. University uses a selection procedure that consists of Micro Presentation (MP), Personal Interview (PI), Skill Assessment (SA), and Group Discussion (GD) for both entry and non-entrance test programs.

Admission 2024 to MBA Program

The university offers 2-year MBA programs at its Kengeri and Central campuses. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with at least 50% marks is the prerequisite for University's MBA program. To be eligible for admission to University's MBA program, candidates must meet the cutoff score or percentile in the MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, or ATMA.

Group Discussion (GD), Micro Presentation (MP), Written Assessment (WA), Verbal Assessment (VA), Personal Interview (PI), and Academic Performance are all part of the University MBA selection process. For working professionals, University also offers an MBA (Executive).

Eligibility:

  • To apply for MBA at University, candidates must have UG studies at any accredited university in India or elsewhere with at least 50% marks.
  • Applications are also accepted from students who are taking their final degree exams.
    MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, and ATMA minimal cutoff scores are required of candidates.
  • Candidates for MBA (Executive) must have a valid composite score of CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA, Bachelor's degree with at least 50%, and at least one year work experience.

Selection Process:

  • Group Discussion (GD): As part of University's selection process, each group has a 25-minute group discussion.
  • Micro Presentation (MP): Each applicant must give 90-second speech on a given subject.
  • Written Assessment (WA): Candidates must write for no more than 10 minutes on a given topic in the written assessment.
  • Verbal Assessment (VA): The expert panel then conducts the verbal assessment.
  • Personal Interview (PI): As a component of the selection process, all candidates must attend the PI.
  • Academic Performance: During University's MBA selection procedure, the grades achieved in 10th, 12th, and UG degrees are evaluated.

Cutoff 2024 of MBA

The MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, and ATMA results are used to determine the university's MBA cutoff. Admission to the relevant MBA program is available to candidates who achieve the minimum cutoff score on these tests.  Admission 2024 to UG Program

UG programs in the arts and humanities, science, commerce, engineering, architecture, education, management, and law are all available at the university. For 3-4 years, University provides UG courses in various specialisations, including BA, B.Tech, BBA, BCA, B.Sc., B.Com., BHM, and BALLB. 12th is must for admission to university.

Various UG programs require entrance exams conducted by the university. For both UG entry and non-entrance programs, the selection procedure consists of either a skill assessment (SA), personal interview (PI), or micro presentation (MP). Selection Criteria:

  • talent Assessment (SA): As part of Christ University's talent assessment exam, candidates will be assigned a writing topic.
  • Micro Presentation (MP): The applicants must discuss the panel's assigned topic for 90 seconds.
  • Personal Interview (PI): As part of University's selection process, each candidate will have 10-minute personal interview round.
  • Academic Performance (AP): To verify the legitimacy of the documents, the candidates' previous performance—that is, their 10th and 12th grades—will be evaluated.

  • Admission to courses such as BA (Music-Western Classical, Creative Media/Honours), BA (Music-Western Classical, Psychology/Honours), BA (Performing Arts, Creative Media/Honours), BA (Performing Arts, Psychology/Honours), BA (Theatre Studies, Creative Media/Honours/Honours with Research), and BA (Theatre Studies, Psychology/Honours/Honours with Research) will be determined by audition.
  • Additionally, entrance tests are administered for certain UG courses, such as BA (Communication and Media, English/Honours/Honours with Research), BA (Communication and Media, Psychology/Honours/Honours with Research), BA (Journalism and Digital Media, English/Honours/Honours with Research), Bachelor of Hotel Management, BBA (Decision Science), and many more. Admission 2024 to PG Program

Full-time PG programs in the fields of science, commerce, engineering, architecture, education, management, law, and the arts and humanities are available at the university. For 2 years, University admits students to postgraduate programs in various specialisations, including MA, M.Sc., M.Com., MTech, B.Ed., LLM, etc. Having UG degree from an accredited university is the primary requirement for University PG admissions.

Admission tests for MA, M.Sc., and LLM programs are conducted by University. University's Micro Presentation (MP), Personal Interview (PI), or Skill Assessment (SA) are reequired for admission to various PG programs. Selection Process:

The following describes University's admissions selection procedure for PG courses:

  • Skill Assessment: University will provide candidates a writing assignment to complete as a skill assessment test as part of the selection process.
  • Micro Presentation: The candidates must discuss the panel's assigned topic for 90 seconds during the micro presentation.
  • Personal Interview: As part of University's PG selection procedure, each candidate will have 10-minute personal interview round.
  • Academic Performance: To verify the authenticity of the documents, the candidates' previous performance—including their 10th, 12th, Graduation Marks, and any work-related documents—will be evaluated. 

Note: Audition will be conducted as a part of the selection process for Master of Arts (Performing Arts - Bharatanatyam). 

Admission 2024 to Ph.D. Program

The university provides 3-5 year Ph.D. programs in various subjects at the research level in the following areas: arts, science, commerce, architecture, management, law, education, and technology. PG is the prerequisite for admission to Ph.D. programs. University bases admission to its Ph.D. program on merit, which is determined by an entrance exam and interview. The following table lists the Ph.D. programs that University provides in various specialisations:

  • Full Time PhD: INR 60,000
  • Part Time PhD: INR 80,000

Eligibility :

To be considered for admission to University's Ph.D. program, candidates must possess PG degree in relevant disciplines with minimum 55%. Candidates with an M.Phil. in a related field are also qualified.

Selection Criteria:

  • University's Ph.D. program admits students based on their performance on the Ph.D. Entrance Test (RET), which is followed by an interview.
  • Exams conducted by University are not open to candidates who have taken the UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), SLET, GATE, teacher fellowship, or who have passed the M.Phil program exam. They can apply straight to the Ph.D. program.
