Admission 2024 to PG Program: MA, M.Sc., M.Com, M.P.Ed, M.Ed., B.P.Ed. LLM

At PG level, the university provides M.Com, M.L.I.Sc., MVA, LLM, M.P.Ed., M.Ed., and B.P.Ed. programs in addition to M.Sc. and MA programs in 16 different specialisations. Candidates must have obtained bachelor's degree to be eligible for PG courses.

Admission to M.Sc., MA, M.Com., B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed., and M.Ed. programs is determined by the university's entrance exam. Merit-based admission is granted to M.Sc. programs in Environmental Science, Material Science, Statistics, Sugar Technology, Electronics & Instrumentation Technology, MA programs in Marathi, Sanskrit, Psychology, Urdu & Persian, and Music, ML.I.Sc., MVA, and LLM.

Admission 2024 to PG Diploma

In 13 specialisations, the university also provides PG diplomas. A candidate must have obtained bachelor's degree from an accredited university with at least 50% marks to be eligible for PG diploma. Candidates must have taken a degree test in any university faculty in order to be eligible for PG diploma in yoga. Alternatively, candidates may apply with B.P.Ed. or B.Ed. as a dual system.

For M.Phil. Candidates:

• Must have graduated from an accredited university with at least 55% grade in Master's program.
• Candidates who are SC, ST, or OBC are granted 5% relaxation.
• Those who have taught full-time, regularly for at least 5 years may be eligible for an exception.
• To be included for the merit list, candidates must receive at least 45% on the entrance exam (or 40% for SC, ST, and OBC students).

For Ph.D. Candidates:

• Candidates must have obtained at least 55% marks in an M.Phil. or Master's degree from an accredited university.
• Teachers with minimum score of 50% at the Master's level who have been regularly employed for at least 10 years at degree colleges are eligible.
• Candidates are excluded from the entrance exam if they have passed the NET, SLET, GATE, JRF, or M.Phil.
• Admission to the M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs is determined by academic merit in the qualifying exam and performance on the university's yearly entrance exam.

Important Points:

• There are 100 multiple-choice questions in the admission exam.
• In order to assess the candidate's aptitude, the test will include both subject-specific and generic questions.
• If the university decides it is necessary, students who do well on the Ph.D. entrance exam may be selected for an interview.

Application Procedure 2024

Candidates can apply online through the university's platform. Online payment is required for application fees.

Steps to Apply:

• Go to the university's official website and select the Admission tab.
• After selecting "Apply Online," thoroughly fill out the form.
• Use a credit/debit card or net banking to pay the application fees.
• After submitting the application, take a printout of it.

Application Fees:

• INR 800 for CEE (INR 400 for SC/ST and Cat-I applicants)
• Others: INR 600 (INR 300 for candidates who are SC/ST and Cat-I).

Take note:

• Cat-I and SC/ST Along with the application printout, candidates must submit their Caste/Category certificate.
• Application forms and required documents must be submitted to the chairperson or coordinator of the department in question to be admitted to a PG course.
