Admission 2025 to MBA/ MBA-BA Program

The admission into MBA and MBA-BA courses is done through the following stages:

Shortlist for WAT-PIThe candidates will be shortlisted for WAT-PI based on their CAT score.

Admission Procedure of University

The selection procedure at university is 2-phase. Using the CAT results, the candidates are shortlisted for personal interviews in the first phase. A Writing Ability Test (WAT) on a topic assigned by university will also be required for the candidates who make the short list for the PI procedure. The final selection will be selected during the second phase based on the pre-PI, interview, and WAT results.

Phase 1: Shortlisted candidates are selected for the Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) rounds based on their CAT, GMAT, and GRE results. Candidates who have been shortlisted have to show for the PI-WAT Round.

Admission into the EPGP program is done through the following stages mentioned below:

The admission into PGPPM program will be done through the process mentioned below:

Shortlisting for InterviewBased on students's educational history, professional experience, CAT, GMAT, GRE, and university test results, as well as their apparent aptitude for public systems and policy, the candidates will be selected for interviews.
Interview In addition to being invited to interview in Bangalore or Delhi, the shortlisted candidates will also need to turn in a case analysis that was given on the day of the interview.
Final Selection The composite score, which is determined by many factors, will be used to make the final selection of the candidates.

Selection Criteria 

  • The applicants will be shortlisted for interview based on their academic background, quality of work experience, test scores in CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ IIMB Test, and their demonstrable aptitude in public systems and policy.
  • The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and will also require to submit a case analysis administered on the day of the interview.
  • The number of final offers will be made depending on the available seats, minimum cut-off for the composite score, and/or score of the applicants on any factors that university may deem important.
