Karnatak University, Dharwad
Karnatak University, established in 1949 and designated as a statutory university in 1950, is Karnataka's 2nd oldest institution and has long provided superior education. There are 5 component colleges that offer UG and graduate courses in science, arts, commerce, fine arts, law, and education. The institution has continuously been ranked between 90th and 95th in the QS India University rankings, and it is among the top 550 colleges in Asia according to the Asian University Rankings 2020. It is officially recognized by the UGC and accredited by the NAAC.
