Karnataka State Law institution (KSLU), a state institution in Navanagar, Hubli, Karnataka, India, offers various graduate and PG law degrees. Admission 2023 at University

University provides various Law courses at UG level. The application procedure for these courses will begin in June. The selection of candidates is based on their merit. The names of the many courses provided by University, along with relevant information, are listed below.

Eligibility Criteria: LLB

The candidate must graduate from an open or deemed university in any discipline after 12th.
Students in the general category must score at least 45%. SC/ST students account for 40%.
For general category candidates, their age must be less than 30 years. It is 35 years in the case of SC, ST, and other underprivileged populations.

Admission 2023 to PG Program

University provides master's degree in law. The application procedure begins in June each year. The selection of candidates is based on their merit.

The University offers LLM programmes in the following specializations:

• Intellectual Property Rights
• Criminal Law and International Law
• Constitutional Law
• Business and Trade Law

Eligibility:

To be qualified for the LLM program, a candidate must the following criteria:

• The candidate must have legal degree from a recognized university in India or overseas.
• The candidate must obtain at least 45% in the qualifying exam. ST/SC students must achieve at least 40%.

Selection Process:

Candidates are selected exclusively on the basis of merit, with no entrance exams. General category candidates must obtain at least 45% in the qualifying exams. SC and ST aspirants must score at least 40%.

Application Procedure 

Candidates can get application forms both online and offline.

• To apply offline, aspirants can obtain the application form directly from the office of the Karnataka State Law University.
• Candidates who apply online can download the application form from the university's official website.

Application fee:

The application fee for general category students is INR 1000, while ST/SC students pay INR 500. The application fees can be paid with a demand draft written in favor of the Finance officer of University (Karnataka State Law University), a challan from any SBI branch, or by credit/debit card and net banking.

The documents that need to be supplied along with the application form are:

• Caste/tribe/community/disability certificate for candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PH.
• Demand draft/challan. For the program fees.
  
• SSLC/SSC/X Class Certificate and Marks Card containing the date of birth.
• Along with the application, provide five current stamp-sized pictures.
• PUC Second Year/HSC and Degree Qualification Mark card for the exam.
• Acknowledgment Card, properly stamped.
• Eligibility certificate
• Income certificate, if fee concession is requested.
• Obtain a migration certificate.
