Admissions at UniversityCandidates for admission to university must meet the eligibility requirements for admission to certain programme. Admission to UG programs such as B.Sc. and B. Tech is based on merit in the most recent qualifying exam.

Admission to PG courses such as M.Sc., M. Tech., and MBA is based on both merit in the previous qualifying test and a written exam. The selection process for the Ph.D. programme includes both an entrance exam and a personal interview.

  • Download the form from the website. The form can be obtained based on the course (UG or PG) for which you have applied.
  • After filling up the form, candidates must affix a photo and signature and submit it to the following address: Registrar, UAS, GKVK, Bangalore - 560 065.
  • Along with the form, the application fee must be given in the form of a DD drawn in the name of The Comptroller, UAS, GKVK, Bangalore, payable in Bangalore.
  • The application fee for the General Category is INR 500, and INR 250/- for SC/ST.
  • Admission to this university is based on the students' performance in the previous Entrance Exam.

Physical Education -   The university focuses on the effects of sports and games on students. The activities encourage kids to be physically fit, mentally aware, morally sound, and socially responsible. Athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, football, gymnastics, hockey, indoor games, Kabaddi, tennis, kho kho, table tennis, wrestling, volleyball, and yogic yoga are among the activities offered.

Coaching Facilities –  Students can contact Physical Education staff for assistance in games.

Hostels -   There are separate hostels for boys and girls on all 4 campuses. They have access to all facilities, including entertainment, a game court, a cafeteria, and so on.

Medical and Health Centre -   There is university hospital that runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Staff. There are separate wards for boys and girls.

Placement and Counseling Cell -   Students can seek information and support from the assigned coordinator regarding placement and fellowship/scholarship opportunities.

Travel Facilities - Other general facilities include concessions on railway tickets for study tours and semester breaks.
