The University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) Bangalore has released an admission notification for various UG, graduate, and research programs. The minimum requirement for UG courses is to have 12th. The minimum requirement for PG courses is bachelor's degree. The fundamental requirement for research programs is master's degree in the relevant discipline. Candidates can download the application forms from the university's website and mail them to the university's office with a demand draft for the application fee attached.

Admissions are dependent on the candidate's performance in the university's entrance test. Candidates from reserved categories receive 5% mark relaxation.

Admission 2024 to UG Program

University's Agriculture faculty provides 7 UG B.Sc. and B.Tech. degree programs.
These programs last 4 years and are offered over 7 different sites of the university. The primary need is to have 12th or comparable exam with related disciplines.

B.Tech is provided in the following specializations:

Candidates can apply by downloading the application form from the university's website. The completed form must be submitted to the Registrar, UAS, GKVK, Bangalore - 560 065 in the prescribed format on or before the date and time specified in the schedule of events. The application fee for general category is Rs. 500/-, and for SC/ST/Cat-1 is Rs. 250/- (the most recent caste certificate must be submitted). The application form fee must be paid in the form of a DD drawn in favour of The Comptroller, UAS, GKVK, Bangalore, payable in Bangalore, and not at any other location.

Admission to places under the General Quota is completely merit-based. The University will conduct a 200-mark Practical Test (PT) for seats reserved for agriculturists and their children. The ultimate selection will be based on the candidate's marks in the Qualifying Exam, as well as the marks received in the Entrance Exam and Personal Interview.

Admission 2024 to PG Program

University provides PG studies in M.Tech., MBA, and M.Sc. Basic eligibility requires bachelor's degree or equivalent in related fields.

Admission 2024 to Ph.D. Program

University provides various Ph.D. courses at the research level. The primary requirement is to have master's degree or equivalent test in relevant topics.

The Ph.D. degree is given in the following subjects:

A unified inter se merit list for each group of subjects will be created. Admission to Masters' Degree Programs is enabled through counselling-cum-admission on specific dates (first round). On the date of counselling, the admission committee will allot seats subject-wise in each group based on the State Government's merit and reservation policy, using the rotation system as detailed in the matrix provided in Annexure-III of this Prospectus. Candidates are recommended to attend the counselling-cum-admission session with their original documents and DD drawn in Favour of the Comptroller, UAS, GKVK, Bangalore for the applicable fee.
