Bodoland University was established in 2009 and is located in Kokrajhar, Assam. As of now, Bodoland University offers MA, MSc, MCA and MBA courses at postgraduate level and MPhil/PhD courses at doctoral level. Some more PG Diploma and Diploma courses offered by the University are a PGD in Bamboo Technology; and a Diploma in HRE (PGDHRE) course. These have a total of 766 students.

• To be eligible for the PG courses admission, candidates who have passed their graduation in a related field are eligible to apply.

Bodoland University provides a postgraduate MBA program. The class includes a total of 30 pupils. Candidates who have completed a minimum of three years of graduation from any stream and have received 50% in the qualifying degree examination are eligible to apply for the MBA.
Admission to the MBA program will be based on results from an admission exam administered by the University, followed by performance in the University's Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.

• Candidates who have scored 75 percentile or higher in the CAT / XAT / MAT / ATMA examinations are exempt from taking the entrance exam.
