Founded in 2008, Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education is a Deemed University approved by the UGC. The NAAC awarded it a "A" rating for accreditation. Numerous specializations are offered by the Academy in both UG and PG courses. It provides Ph.D. programs in Basic Sciences & Sciences & Technology, Engineering and Technology, and Health Sciences. PG Diploma in multiple specializations is also offered.

Admission to Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education
The results of the entrance exam determine who gets to enroll in each course. MD, MS, and MDS admission is based on NEET PG, while MBBS and BDS admission is based on NEET-UG. For M. Tech and MCA programs, admission to the BE program is determined by the results of the CET and PGCET exams.

Under the Post Matric Scholarship for Backward Class Students, which the Karnataka Government instituted, the institution provides scholarships to citizens of the state.
