Institution is a state institution located in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The institution was founded in 2010 and is approved by ICAR and UGC.

BAU provides UG courses in B.Tech, B.Sc, B.V.Sc, and A.H., as well as PG studies in M.Sc and M.V.Sc. University also provides Ph.D. courses at the research level.

Admissions 2024 for UG Programs: B.Tech, B.Sc., B.V.Sc. & A.H.

University provides B.Tech in one subject, B.V.Sc & A.H., and B.Sc in 2 disciplines, with 335 UG seats.

Students wishing to pursue UG courses at the institution must have completed a 12th examination or equivalent with PCM/B as subjects from a recognized board.

Admission to 85% of UG courses will be dependent on BCECE scores. Admission to 15% of the seats will be based on the All India Entrance Examination conducted by the ICAR.

Admissions 2024 for PG Courses: M.Sc. and M.V.Sc.

University provides M.V.Sc. courses in 11 disciplines and M.Sc programs in 11 disciplines, with 107 PG seats.

Candidates seeking admission to PG courses at the university must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.

Admission to PG degree programs will through Entrance Test conducted by the institution, which will calculate the marks of entrance-cum-academic achievement in the following manner:
