Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) was founded in 2009. CHARUSAT offers 64 programs, spanning from undergraduate (UG) to doctoral (Ph.D.). These courses are offered at 8 different institutions, including CSPIT, CMPICA, RPCP, IIIM, PDPIAS, ARIP, MTIN, and DPIATR.

Admissions 2023 to UG Program
Admission will be granted based on a merit list prepared by considering marks in theory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from all 4 semesters of the Std. XI and Std. XII Science exams conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board in March, as well as 40% percentile marks of the GUJCET exam.
To be eligible for B.tech, candidate must have completed 12th or HSC with minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Math; for others, 50% marks in HSC from the Science stream is necessary.
In BPT/B.Sc (nursing), 85% seats are filled through entrance exams, with Charotar University filling the remaining 15% through the NRI quota.
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conducts the GUJCET for admission.

Admissions 2023 to Dual Degree/ BBA/BCA and MBA/MCA
Admission to the BCA/BBA program is determined by merit list compiled from the candidates' grades. Candidates who completed their 12th with English (ideally) as a subject are eligible to apply. For the Dual Degree course, the 12th grade should be completed in the science stream.
Admission to MBA/MCA programs is determined by a merit list based on the scores obtained by applicants in the CMAT entrance examination. Applicants with 50% marks in their respective Bachelor degrees are eligible.
The application form for the BBA/BCA/Dual Degree course can be accessed on the University website; forms are also available during office hours at CMPICA, Changa.
Admission to MBA/MCA programs is handled by the CMAT - Common Management Test, which is administered by AICTE in New Delhi. Applicants must complete out an online application form through the official website. Registration fees for general male candidates are 1400/-, while females and SC/ST candidates pay 700/- through SBI Challan, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
CMAT is 3-hour computer-based test. The candidates are tested on various segments i.e. Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness and Language Comprehension.

Admissions 2023 to M.Tech, M.Pharma and MPT
A candidate's admission to M.Tech course will be based on his performance in the PGCET/GATE.
Admission to M.Pharma is based on the GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test).
MPT admissions are basis of a merit list produced based on candidates' achievement in qualifying examinations.
To be eligible for the M.Tech course, a candidate must have passed the B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent exam with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/SEBC candidates).
Graduates in Pharmacy or final-year students of a (10+2 lateral Entry) course whose results will be released prior to admission are eligible for the GPAT.
For MPT admissions candidate should be a graduate in BPT.
For the M.Tech. application process, before applying online, the candidate must obtain PIN Cover by paying Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) per discipline in cash only from Dena Bank approved branches.
Following online registration, all candidates must submit printout of the registration form as well as self-attested photocopies of all required documents to a nearby Help Centre in order to get an acknowledgement slip and a Hall Ticket for PGCET. All candidates must present this Acknowledgement slip Cum Hall Ticket for PGCET to the test otherwise they will be denied the opportunity to take the exam.
Both GATE qualified and non-GATE candidates must register online. GATE-qualified applicants, on the other hand, are exempt from taking the PGCET.
For M.Pharma applicants they have to register for GPAT by accessing official website. For MPT admissions application form is available on website.

Admissions 2023 to Ph.D.
Admission to Ph.D. course is based on CDET and an interview. Admission to postdoctoral fellowships is based on the candidate's credentials and an interview. Candidates for Ph.D. admission must have PG (Master's) degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
In Post-Doctoral Fellowship The minimum qualification is Doctorate (Ph.D./MD) or comparable degree. The Ph.D. admissions procedure is carried out twice a year, in June and December.
After being advertised by university, candidates for Post-Doctoral fellowships can submit their applications on plain paper along with an updated resume, a list of publications, full-length articles from 2 important papers, copies of certificates (B. Sc, M. Sc, Ph.D./M. D/B. Tech, M.Tech/B.C.A, MCA/B.B.A, MBA/B.Pharma, M.Pharma), two letters of recommendation (academic), etc. The candidate must submit 1 or 2-page overview of proposed research.
The monthly emoluments for fellow working in university are Rs. 25000/-. In addition, the fellow will receive 10% HRA.
