Deemed to be University is based in Markandeshwar Maharishi, Haryana. It was formed in 1993 and currently has three campuses: Ambala, Karnal, and Solan. University offers a various UG, graduate, and research courses in engineering, medicine and surgery, management, nursing, pharmacy, science and humanities, and law. 

Steps to Apply for University Admissions:

• Candidates who meet JEE Main requirements can apply for the B.Tech program. Counseling is used to give B.Tech (Lateral Entry) admissions based on the candidate's performance on the most recent qualifying exam.
• A valid NEET UG score is required for admission to MBBS and BDS programs.
• Admission to other UG programs, including BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc., Integrated LL.B., B.Pharm, B.Sc. Nursing, and BHMCT, is determined by the results of the most recent qualifying test, which is followed by counseling.
• Admission to M.Tech programs is contingent upon a valid GATE score.
• For admission to an MBA program, candidates must take the CMAT or MAT.
• For admission to MD, MS, and MDS programs, students must pass the NEET PG exam.
• Candidates are selected for university-based counseling to be considered for admission to various PG programs, including MCA, M.Sc., LL.M., M.Pharm, M.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Medical, and M.Optom.

B.Tech, B.Pharm & BHMCT Admission 2024:

Full-time B.Tech (Regular+Lateral), BHMCT, and B.Pharm programs are offered by university in various streams. The minimal requirement for eligibility is 12th with PCM/B. The JEE Main score is used to identify candidates for the B.Tech program. Additionally, it is mandatory for all applicants to complete university-level counseling sessions.

Admission to B.Tech (Lateral Entry), BHMCT, and B.Pharm (Regular+Lateral) programs is entirely determined by scores on the most recent qualifying test, which is followed by counseling.

While B.Tech (LE) and B.Pharm (LE) programs last 3 years, B.Tech, BHM&CT, and B.Pharmacy programs last 4 years.

MBBS, BDS, BPT, B.Sc Nursing & B.Optom Admission 2024:

University also provides MBBS, BDS, BPT, B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Medical, and B.Optom (Regular+ Lateral) courses at UG level.  A valid NEET UG score is required for admission to MBBS and BDS, while candidates for other programs will be shortlisted based on their performance in the most recent qualifying exam, followed by an university-based counseling process.

B.Sc, BCA, BBA, B.Com & Integrated LL.B Admission 2024:

At the UG level, university offers various specialties in B.Sc., BCA (Regular+ Lateral), BBA (Regular+Lateral), B.Com., and Integrated LL.B. courses. While BCA (Lateral Admission) and BBA (Lateral Admission) are 2-year studies, B.Sc., BBA, and B.Com. programs last 3 years.

The shortlisted candidates are awarded admission to these programs based on their 12th scores, after which they undergo document verification and counseling.

The duration of the BBA-LLB (Hons), B.Com-LLB (Hons), and BBA-LLB programs is 5 years.

Diploma program admission is entirely determined by merit.

M.Tech & M.Pharm Admission 2024:

For 2 years, university provides PG M.Tech and M.Pharm programs in various disciplines. The minimal requirements for admission to M.Tech and M.Pharm programs are BE/B.Tech in the relevant field and B.Pharm, respectively. Admission to M.Tech programs requires a GATE score, but admission to M.Pharm programs is determined on merit. Only after counseling is a final admission made.

MD, MS, MDS, DM, M.Ch, and Pharm.D. programs are available at university under the medical division. All courses are open to students who pass the NEET-PG, NEET-MS, and NEET-SS exams. Candidates who have been shortlisted must attend the university's counseling session.

M.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Medical, MPT, M.Optom & MPT Admission 2024:

The results of the most recent qualifying test and university-conducted counseling are used to determine admission to M.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Medical, MPT, M.Optom, and MPT programs. University-offered courses last for 2 years. Bachelor's degrees in related fields are required of applicants to M.Sc. programs.

Candidates must also attend merit-based counseling sessions that the institution arranges for admission to these programs.

Ph.D. Admission 2024:

Additionally, university offers full-time doctoral programs in various university departments. The course lasts for 3 years. The minimal requirement for eligibility is master's degree in the relevant field with at least 60% marks. To give admission to this program, the institute conduct a separate written exam and interview. Applicants who meet the requirements for GATE, SLET, and UGC/CSIR-NET may also apply.

Key Points:

• Applicants for Ph.D. programs may also be those who have completed their M.Phil. and taken the entrance exam, or who have obtain a spot on the NET, GATE, or SLET.
• Scholarships granted by the institute are not available to sponsored candidates.
• In the case of sponsored candidates, the employer's NOC must be provided.

Application Process 2024:

Both online and offline applications are accepted for any of the programs that university offers. The following describes how to apply for both modes:

Online Process:

• Go to the university's official website and complete the application for the course
• After complete the form, upload the required documents.
• A credit/debit card or net-banking (Axis Bank) can be used to make an online payment of INR 1000.
• A distinct application number is given to the candidate upon successful fee payment, which they can retain for future use.   

Offline Process:

• Candidates wants admission to programs offered by university are required to collect the application form from the institute’s administrative office by paying INR 1000 as cash.
• Candidates can also request a copy of the application form by post or download a printable copy from the institute’s website. Application fee, in these cases, can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘MMDU, Mullana’ payable at Mullana, Haryana.
• The prescribed application fee for the current academic year is INR 1000, which can be paid in cash when collecting the application form.
• Application form and self-attested photocopies of all relevant enclosures must be submitted to the university office

Scholarship 2024 for Students at University:

The following scholarships are given to deserving and qualified students attending MMDU:

• On a merit-cum-means basis, worthy students will receive a full or partial fee reduction.
• The following groups of students in particular courses are eligible for fee concessions at the time of admission:
• Those who pass the qualifying exam with 90% or higher receive a 60% tuition cost reduction.
• Those who pass the qualifying exam with 80% to 89.99% possible marks will receive a 40% tuition cost reduction.
• Those who pass the qualifying exam with 70% to 79.99% possible marks will receive a 30% tuition fee reduction.
• Students whose parents make less than one lac might apply for scholarships or financial aid.
• According to university regulations, M. Tech, MD, MS, and PG Diploma (Medical) students receive a stipend.
