Each of the three undergraduate programmes lasts three years: B.Com, BBA, and BA. These programmes require a 10+2 qualification, and selection is based on merit.

 On the postgraduate front, the university offers M.Com and MA programmes, each lasting two years. Eligibility for M.Com comprises a BCom, BBA, BBM, BISM, BA (Economics), MBA, or any other undergraduate degree with CA as a topic. Massachusetts has a broader eligibility requirement, accepting any Bachelor's Degree. Both programmes use a merit-based selection method.  Furthermore, Pondicherry University DDE provides a two-year MBA programme for students with a Bachelor's Degree and a 50% GPA. Admission to the MBA programme is based on merit or CAT result.
