Campus at University
The campus life at IIT Delhi is active and varied. The campus has all the conveniences needed to give every student a comfortable and stimulating living environment. IIT Delhi offers a number of facilities, such as the following:
Central Library: To support teaching and learning, the Centre offers a sizable collection of books, periodicals, and online materials. It also offers an excellent setting for growth and learning. Students can plan their preparation time in the main library and make use of all the necessary tools. There are 1,93,249 books and 7,102 Books in Text Book & Book Bank are available in university.
Guest Houses: To welcome guests, IIT Delhi provides well-furnished guest rooms with facilities including AC, Wi-Fi, connected bathrooms, and linen. Parents of students, visiting staff, and alumni will all find their stay comfortable thanks to the well-maintained rooms with all the facilities.
Sports Complex: IIT Delhi offers a variety of athletic facilities, such as playgrounds and sports tracks. On the main playground of IIT Delhi, there is a 400-meter racetrack and a running/walking track. Athletic fields, cricket, hockey, football, basketball courts, clay and synthetic tennis courts, volleyball courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a snooker table, a gym with separate rooms for men and women, and athletic fields are just some facilities available to faculty members and their families. The Gulmohar guest house in the Student Activity Centre (SAC) is close to several of these facilities, and a new sports complex is being constructed across from the hospital. The spaces are available for team activities and have set hours of operation. Team and activity registration is aided by the SAC sports officer's office.
Health services: The IIT Delhi Hospital offers academic, staff, and students emergency care as well as medical attention in order to maintain the wellbeing of the campus community.

Hostels of University
At IIT Delhi, hostels play a significant role in student life. Approximately 7000 of the 13000 students stay in the 17 hostels that are managed by the Board for Hostel Management (BHM): 12 are for males, 4 are for girls, and 1 is a transit accommodation for girls.
Not all students, especially male PG students, are promised a hostel seat straight once, even if rooms are allotted transparently in accordance with institute norms. The new, centrally AC apartments are reserved for non-M.Sc. PG students, including Ph.D. researchers, while the old, non AC rooms a mix of UG and graduate students. With fewer available dorms, students may need to search outside of campus for private accommodation.
