Prahladrai Dalmia Lions College of Commerce & Economics

Established in 1972 by the Lions Club of Malad-Borivali, the Commerce College in Mumbai's western suburb, Malad, was a visionary initiative to address societal needs. The foundation stone was laid in April 1972, with generous support from the Dalmia family of Prahladrai Dalmia Charity Trust. In just 100 days, the college building was completed, and it was inaugurated by Mr. T.K. Tope, the then Vice Chancellor of Bombay University. Starting with 450 students, the institution has evolved into a premier institute, focusing on academic excellence and fostering a holistic environment for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Emphasizing ethics, hard work, and commitment to excellence, the college aims to instill resilience, creativity, and leadership qualities in its students. Prahalai Dalmia Lions college of education offers a wide range of UG and PG courses in stream of commerce, Management and Information Technology.
