Government Act No. 6 allowed for the establishment of St. Joseph University in 2016. With the sincere goal of educating the people of Nagaland, it is a private, catholic research university headed by MMI (Missionaries of Mary Immaculate) fathers and DMI (Daughter of Mary Immaculate) sisters. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) both recognize and accredit the university.
The departments of arts, science, engineering, and management of the university provide a variety of courses. BA (Hons.), B.SC. (Hons.), BCA, BBA, B.Com. (Hons.), BSW, B.Tech, MA, M.Sc., M.Com., MCA, MBA, and Ph.D. are among the courses that the institute offers. Admission to St. Joseph University in 2024

All programs provide merit-based admissions; however, candidates must have a valid score on the entrance exams (JEE Main or MAT, respectively) to be considered for admission to the B.Tech and MBA programs.
In light of the current circumstances, the institution is accepting applications online for the upcoming year. On weekdays, the Online Admission Desk will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The admissions process is not thorough enough:
Step 1: The applicant must first check in to the admissions portal of the university.

Step 2: Applicants can apply for the preferred courses after registering.

Step 3: (Verification of Document) Following the completion of the application process, the candidate must email the supporting documentation to admission@stjosephuniv.edu.in, the college's official email address. Enclose all of the papers in one email.

Step 4: The Online Admission Desk will contact the students for a preliminary phone interview following the documentation's verification.

Step 5: Pay the tuition online and send the email address that receives the electronic receipt.

Placements at St. Joseph University

The college's placement unit puts up a lot of effort to place every student at 100%. It aims to create connections between businesses and students. Prior to the placement drive, students receive extensive training to help them ace the interviews.  Hostel-The college has a separate, well-furnished hostel for boys and ladies. Sports equipment is provided in the dormitories to enable students to pursue their sporting interests. To look after the students, a committed warden is on duty at the hostel all the time. There is a food court on campus and a clean eating area for the hostel guests.

Laboratories: For students enrolled in the science stream, the college offers labs for physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, computer science, digital electronics, and biotechnology.
