The Odisha State Open University was established in 2015 by an Act of the Odisha State Legislature. The university, which is based in Odisha's Sambalpur district, is well-known for its online learning programs. The University offers a wide range of courses, including teacher education, computer science, engineering, business and management, paramedicine, agricultural, and foreign language studies.
