Established in 2018, D.Y. Patil International University is a private university under state sponsorship. The Maharashtra government, the AICTE, the UGC, and the AIU all acknowledge the institute. DY Patil University Admission 2024

  • Admission to the BTech, BBA, BCA, and Integrated BTech+MTech programs at DY Patil International University is determined by the results of the DYPIU Entrance Test, MH-CET, JEE, PERA CET, CUET, or any other comparable competitive test. A personal interview is then required.
  • Admissions to the BAJMC are made by personal interviews, whereas admissions to the BDes are made through NID-DAT, UCEED, and any other comparable competitive exam. A personal interview is then held by the DYPIU School of Design Faculty.
  • A valid score on the Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test (MAH AAC CET) or any other comparable competitive test, as well as a valid score in the School of Design Faculty at DYPIU's personal interview, are prerequisites for admission to the BFA program at DYPIU.
  • The DY Patil International University requires candidates to have a legitimate score on the MH-CET, GATE, PERA CET, CUET, or any other comparable competitive test, as well as a good score on the Personal Interaction exam in order to admit them to the PG and Integrated PhD programs.
  • A personal interview and the PhD Entrance Test are the two criteria used for admissions. UGC-NET/GATE/JRF qualified candidates, however, are not required to take the test. 


Admission Process

For DY Patil International University course admissions, the following procedures are followed:

Step 1: Register online at dypiu.ac.in/lp/application, the DYPIU website. The OTP phone number verification step kicks off the registration procedure. Following a successful verification process, the candidate fills out the application.

Step 2: Fill out the application form with the necessary information, then upload all original documents (10th and 12th grades, graduation (for PG courses), caste certificate, entrance scorecard, bona fide, Kashmiri migrants/non-migrants, TC/migration of last school/college/university) for verification.

Step 3: Complete the online application and pay the non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000.


Step 4: Attend the DYPIU Entrance Exam or Personal Interview (Applicants who are enrolled in any entrance exam at the state or federal level are not required to take the DYPIU Entrance Exam).


Step 5: A proposal A letter of acceptance to the chosen program is sent to the chosen candidates based on their performance in the entrance exam and in-person interview. The offer letter includes a link that the candidate can click to accept it, or they can accept it by going into their account.

Step 6: The applicant must deposit the required funds according to the timetable outlined in the offer letter. To finish the admissions process, a provisional admission letter with comprehensive details is sent.


Step 07: In addition, applicants must download the COLLPOLL app from the University Management System (UMS) portal on their smartphones and use the login information provided in the admission confirmation letter to complete the ERP registration process. They have to complete the ERP form, upload the necessary files, and write down the UMS Registration Number (URN) for future use.

Step 8: Step 8: Following the completion of the aforementioned procedures, the candidate will get a letter of provisional acceptance from the university confirming their spot in the relevant program. However, admission won't be verified until the relevant paperwork has been checked on campus.

Scholarships are awarded by DY Patil International University Pune to deserving students on a first-come, first-served basis. DY Patil International University PhD Financial Assistance

  • Financial assistance in the form of Teaching Assistantships (TAs) and Research Assistantships (RAs) will be available to all candidates accepted as full-time PhD students.
  • The assistantship pays INR 31,000 per month until the candidate passes the qualifying exam and finishes the coursework, whichever comes first in the semester.
  • The assistantship is revised to Rs. 40,000/-per month for the next period.
  • The assistantship can be taken up for a maximum of four years by the candidate upon their passage of the qualifying exam or their clearance of the synopsis, whichever comes first.
  • In addition to helping with research projects, teaching, and academic administration as needed, the duties of the teaching/research assistantship include leading laboratory courses and tutorials for undergraduate students.


DY Patil International University Other Scholarships:

These are the other scholarships that D Y Patil International University offers to students who have excelled in their extracurricular or academic pursuits. The Vice-Chancellor's Fellowship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated excellence in extracurricular activities; it is only available to current students pursuing further education at DY Patil International University Pune. The Academic Excellence Scholarship is awarded to students who rank among the toppers in their annual academic performance; it is also only available to current students pursuing further education at DYPIU.

Hostels: The D Y Patil Girl's Hostel on campus has enough hostel space for girls. Boys can find lodging in the nearby D Y Patil Boy's Hostel, which is run by a private organization. Every hostel building has a security guard on duty around-the-clock. The hostels also include a number of amenities, such as a restaurant, a gym, a public phone, cold and hot running water for baths, leisure rooms, etc. Additionally, a doctor comes to the hostel twice a week to perform physical examinations. During the first year, first-year students are assigned to the DY Patil International University Hostel solely based on merit, with precedence given to international students.  

Library: Students can read a vast array of books, periodicals, newspapers, and magazines at the university. The library is a wardrobe with distinct parts for writers, genres, concepts, etc.
Sports: The campus offers its students access to a tennis court, a badminton hall, a football field, and other sports facilities. It aids in the development of both their physical and mental toughness.


Food Courts: The DYPIU Campus features large, well-stocked food courts with a large selection of food. The food is hygienic and includes nearly all of the cuisines and specialties from both north and south India. The surrounding regions are kept tidy and clean. Snacks, breakfast, and lunch are all reasonably priced at the food court.
