The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Hyderabad is a deemed university that was established in 2011. It is TISS's off-campus college that has also received UGC approval. The institution was established by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
It offers postgraduate and doctoral degrees in a variety of disciplines. Admission to the courses is based on merit. TISS has an active placement cell with a 100 percent placement record. Admission at TISS
For postgraduate and M.phil/PhD degrees, admission to TISS, Hyderabad is determined by merit. A research proposal, comprising roughly 1,000 words, must be submitted by the candidate applying for a PhD program. This proposal should include the following: a description of the study's broad field of study, a statement of the research topic, and the study's scope and objectives. Along with this, the candidate's research and professional experience in that field may be included.

TISS Facilities
- Library: There is a book, journal, and reference section in the college's library. There are already over 4,000 books available, and many more are being added all the time. Along with their academic studies, students can use the facility to further their knowledge.
- Counseling center: TISS in Hyderabad offers group therapy sessions and individual counseling to students as well as other developmental services. For six days a week, it is open. In addition to assisting kids with day-to-day questions, counselors foster their overall growth. The counselors also often host workshops to help students understand themselves better.
