Established in 2016, Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University (AHUU) is a state university located in Kurnool. It is a prestigious university studying Urdu that is located in the Andhra Pradesh state's Kurnool city. Act No. 13 of 2016 from the Andhra Pradesh State Legislature founded the university, and the UGC subsequently acknowledged it. For the permanent location of the Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University in Orvakal on the Kurnool–Nandyal highway (NH–40), the State Government has allotted 144 acres of land. Apart from BA and MA in Urdu, the institution offers a variety of courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and integrated levels.
