One of the six private universities in Bihar, Gopal Narayan Singh University (GNSU) Sasaram was founded in 2018. The University Grants Commission has granted the college recognition. Admission in GNSU 

The University Grant Commission and the Government of Bihar have approved and linked the university. They choose students according to their prescribed procedures, taking into account UG-GET entrance tests in addition to merit.
