In 2018, Dharmashtra National Law University (DNLU) was established in Madhya Pradesh with approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC). Students can enroll in undergraduate and graduate legal studies programs offered by DNLU. The Bar Council of India is associated with the courses provided. BA LLB program
The five-year integrated bachelor's program in law and legal theory aims to teach students about both legal ideas and arts disciplines. Regular moot court sessions are part of the course curriculum, along with guest lectures from professionals in the field.
Minimum of 45% in 10+2 is required for eligibility. Candidates who fall under reserved categories will receive a 5% relaxation. Additionally, the candidate needs to have a valid CLAT exam score.

LLM
For students who already hold a professional degree in law, there is an LLM, or Master of Laws, program. The program offers candidates competence in the subject of legal studies. Thesis and research projects that examine the nation's current judicial system are included in the course module.

Selection criteria
The university administers an entrance exam, which is followed by counseling, to determine who gets to enroll in the LLM program. The university will not accept the CLAT results as proof of eligibility for its LLM program.
