About university
Act No. 6 of 2017 authorized the incorporation of this university under the name Rajasthan I.L.D. Skills University (RISU), as the Rajasthan Government State University. First Vice Chancellor of RISU to be appointed is Dr. Lalit K. Panwar, former Secretary of the Government of India and IAS. As of right now, the university is now known as Vishvakarma Skills University (VSU), per an Act passed by the state parliament and announced on August 10, 2023.
The affiliated institutions' inaugural session began in July 2018.
VISU is a successful institutional initiative that helps the State execute the National Skills Qualification Framework. VSU is the affiliating body for numerous institutes engaged in skill and vocational training because it is a government university.
