Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Womens University

The first women's university in India is called Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University, or SNDT Women's University. The University of Mumbai's Churchgate Campus is located to the headquarters. There are two more campuses located in Pune and Juhu. Among the top 50 multidisciplinary universities is SNDT Women's University. According to Week-Hansa Research report, it came in 6th place for Western India. Numerous UG, graduate, certificate, and diploma programmes are offered by the university. The University's Department of Distance Education offers a variety of distance learning courses for students who would choose not to enrol in a ragular institution.Its headquarters are in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and its 166 associated colleges spread over three sites in seven more states. The university offers 117 courses in 15 faculties, including research, doctorate degrees, UG and PG degrees, and diplomas in many fields.

Admission to University

Eligibility Criteria as per the rules of Institution must be fulfilled by candidates to get Admission to university. Merit obtained in the qualifying exam are the basis of getting Admission to University. MHT-CET Entrance exam are conducted by University for some courses to get Admission.

• Entrance Based Courses: B.Ed. , M.Ed., B.Tech, MBA, M.TEch, MCA

Process of admission

The University provides a wide range of courses in the following areas: Science, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Management, and Arts and Humanities. Interested candidates should take the following actions to register online for the courses they want to take:

2. Visit to the "Online Application for Admissions" page, select the online registration link, and provide a working phone number and email address.
3. Check that you are registered, choose the programme you wish to enrol in, and begin the application process.
4.  Complete the form completely and upload any scanned documents that are within the required dimensions.
5. Fill out the application and send it in with the necessary fees, taking into account your course and category.

Scholarships for Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersay Womens University

Students can apply for the following scholarships and fellowships from the university:

1. Dr. Vijaya Mulay Scholarship: One 1st year PG student and one 3rd year UG student will each receive this. The annual scholarship amounts for UG students will be 30,000 INR and PG students will be 60,000 INR.
2. Centennial Year Endowment Scholarship: One regular PG student will get a 25,000 INR Centennial Year Endowment Scholarship each year. 

Scholarships listed above will only be given to students who place in the top 10 on the exam. They shouldn't be receiving any additional scholarships, either.
