The Jharkhand Raksha Shakti institution was established in 2016 by the Jharkhand government. In the disciplines of police science and internal security, this university is the first in Jharkhand and the third in the country to offer Certificate, Diploma, and Degree programs. These programs give students the chance to advance their careers in the state police, central police, military, and other private security forces. The university administers a common entrance exam as the foundation for offering admission to the courses.

Admissions to JRSU Ranchi

 To get admission candidates have to apply in programs candidates wish to apply for.  Please find below the directions for completing the entrance form:

1.Get the application by downloading it from the university's website, then print it off. Complete the application completely, then include a recent passport-sized photo.

2.A demand draft for INR 200 made payable to "Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University, Ranchi" and payable in Ranchi, Jharkhand, should be attached.

• With the application form, affix the following self-attested documents.

• 10th Sheet for Aadhaar Card

• Mark sheet for Intermediate

• Graduation mark Sheet Certificate of Income (if applicable) 

The Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University will admit students to all of its courses based on their combined score of 40% from the qualifying examination for each course and their 60% mark from the general entrance exam.
