The 180-acre BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa campus was founded in 2004. The Aditya Birla Group is in charge of 4 BITS Pilani campuses, including BITS Goa. It has a NAAC "A" grade for accreditation. Under different disciplines, BITS Goa provides B.E., M.E., M.Sc., and Ph.D. programs. The school is well-known for its 8-specialization B.E. program, for which admittance are determined by BITSAT results. Based on BITSAT, the total cutoff for BE is between 209 and 295 points for the general category. First-rank holders from federal and state boards are also granted direct admission to the program of their choosing by the university, despite of their BITSAT results.

The BITS Goa 2023 placement process is now over. The most common package offered was worth INR 30 LPA. The largest bundle, valued at INR 60.75 LPA, represented an increase of 35% over the previous year's value. Scholarship for University

Several scholarships are available to incoming students at BITS Pilani Goa, based on their academic standing and financial need. Any student who meets the requirements is eligible for any of the awards. Roughly thirty percent of students receive financial help or other forms of support, according to historical figures. a) All prizes are given for a single semester only, and whether they are extended for one or more semesters depends on the candidate's needs and performance at the institute.

b) About half of all full-time Ph.D. students who receive no other financial aid will also receive a monthly stipend of up to Rs. 31,000 in the form of an assistantship, for which they must required to devote up to 8 to 10 hours a week to help with teaching, research, or administrative duties. The Institute does not rely on nationally administered exams like GATE, GPAT, etc. in making its decision about these awards or stipends; rather, it uses its own pre-declared approach.

  • It will also be advised that students accepted for Ph.D. programs and higher degrees receive scholarships and fellowships from other organizations, such as the ICMR, DBT, CSIR, UGC, and DBT. These scholarships are administered in accordance with the guidelines provided by the organizations that provide them. Students who have been accepted into PG programs and who meet the GATE requirements may apply for the GATE scholarship by sending an application to the UGC, which the Institute will forward to the UGC. It is important to remember that UGC decides whether approved students will get GATE or GPAT scholarships in accordance with current policies, and the Institute is unable to ensure such grants.

  • Funding provided by the Students Aid Fund.
  • The Institute for Advanced Study in the field of Renewable Energy has been granted two research fellowships by the Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources (MNES), Government of India.
  • Additionally, students can compete nationally for notable scholarships including the GE Fund India Scholarship, the Aditya Birla Scholarship, and the Lucent Global Science Scholars Program.
  • Financial support from alumni of BITS. The Institute and BITSAA International are joint sponsors of the BITS and BITSAA International Travel Fellowship. 75% of the cost of travel is given back to deserving students who are going overseas to present chosen papers at conferences.
