Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University For Women -[IGDTUW]

The Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, also known as IGDTUW, is a public university. It was founded in 1998. IGDTUW is an independent technological university for women. The University campus is situated in Kashmere Gate, New Delhi. Admissions at IGDTUW are available for UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs. The University uses national level exams such as JEE Mians, UGC NET, CUET, etc. as a basis for admission to all of its programs. The main program that University offers is B.Tech. Admission to the B.Tech programme is based on JEE Main rank. Delhi's JAC controls the B.Tech counseling procedure.

UG, graduate, and doctorate programs are offered by University. Undergraduate B.Tech, BArch, and BBA programs are available at University. PG degree programs in MBA, MTech, and MCA are offered at University .For individuals interested in further education, University provides a Ph.D. program. To better meet the needs of the company, the fields of Mechanical and Automation Engineering have recently been introduced to the curriculum. The University MBA program offers 6 different academic disciplines.

University Admission 2024 

All courses at University have admissions based on results from national exams. It is necessary for applicants to confirm their eligibility for the intended course and appear for the test.

India Today has ranked the University BTech in Engineering at 17 out of 35. Exams such as DASA, JAC Delhi, and JEE Main are accepted. The Cutoff for the JAC-Delhi 2023 B.Tech Computer Science Engineering and B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering programs are 84637 and 121880, respectively. The 3-year University BBA programme costs INR 70,000, INR 77,000, and INR 84,000 in tuition, respectively. The BBA program focuses on managing global business, human resources, marketing, and finance. India Today has ranked University M.Tech in Engineering at 17 out of 35. It accepted CUET PG and GATE as prerequisites for admission. The fees of the same for the first year is INR 96,000.

INR 1.04 Lakh is the 1st year's tuition for the 5-year University BArch programme. In 2023, the cutoff for the BArch General Category is 695. INR 1.05 Lakh is required as the first year fees for the 2-year University MCA programme. For this course, a student must have completed their graduation with at least 60% in NIMCET. The PhD programs offered by University include Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mechanical & Automation Engineering, and Applied Science & Humanities. The fees of the same for the first year is INR 33,000.

University received 780 placement offers at the end of its 2023 placement campaign. A total of 367 students participated in the placement campaign; 330 of them were placed. Campus Events And Life 
The University campus is situated at Kashmere Gate in New Delhi. The campus spans 60 acres. With a carefully selected collection of print, electronic, and video materials, the University campus includes a sizable library specializing in science, engineering, technology, and management. The institution has 2 hostels for women: Krishna Hostel and Kaveri Hostel. Numerous clubs and groups are active on campus, and they are managed by students. On campus, there are also a lot of student celebrations and events.
