Amity University, Patna

The Amity Education Group founded the private institution known as Amity institution Patna in 2017. It is accredited by BCI and UGC and is situated in Patna, Bihar. The institute is one of the best universities in Bihar and was awarded a World Record by the World Book of Records.

UG, graduate, and doctorate programs in commerce, computer science, engineering, management, law, English literature, and journalism are all offered by University. For both UG and graduate programs at University Patna, different requirements apply. The following are the University UG and graduate admissions requirements:

UG Admissions:

• All UG courses require admission based on 12th results. After that, candidates must complete an interview, an English language proficiency test, and a subject-specific question.
• Candidates with an aggregate score of at least 80% in Class 12th (CBSE/ISC/StateBoard) would be offered direct admission to University for UG programs. The selection process does not apply to these candidates.
• University Application Form shall be the exclusive basis for selection.
• With the exception of integrated legal courses, where direct admission is only available to candidates who have scored 70 or above on the CLAT, programs in architecture, design, education, fine arts, fashion, law, and physical education are not eligible for direct admission based on class 12th percentage .
• An aggregate percentage based on marks in English and three academic subjects (compulsorily including topics of eligibility and excluding Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or any Vocational/Non-Written subjects) will be calculated to verify eligibility. Only their specific curricula will give consideration to these themes.
• Admission to B.Tech programs requires University JEE appearance, and UG law programs require a valid CLAT score.

PG Admissions:

• The University PG admissions procedure is determined by the candidate's merit in the qualifying exam, which is then followed by an interview, an English language proficiency test, and a topic-specific question.
• On the day of the interview, candidates must appear for the Management Aptitude Test and Group Discussion in order to be admitted to the MBA program.
  Candidates who are not alumni of University are not eligible for direct admission to the PG program at the Patna branch.
• The English and three academic subject marks (compulsorily including subjects of eligibility AND excluding Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or any Vocational/Non-Written subjects) 
• ill be used to compute the aggregate percentage for class 12th. Only the irrespective/select programs will give consideration to these themes.

Scholarships Continuation

Scholarships are awarded annually, and recipients' eligibility to continue in the program in subsequent years is determined by the scholarship policy (which does not apply to BTech scholarships determined by JEE scores).
Students who place in the top 5% of the program's merit list will be eligible to continue receiving 100% of the scholarship. In order to maintain their 50% scholarship, students must place in the top 10% of the program's merit ranking.
