ANGRAU Guntur, also known as Acharya NG Ranga Agriculture University, was founded on June 12, 1964, as Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU) by virtue of the APAU Act 1963. When it comes to home science and agriculture, ANGRAU is among the best and most highest-ranked universities. With the support and direction of outstanding academic members, the educational institution has received ICAR and UGC approval.
The institution provides 16 Ph.D. programs, 22 PG degrees, and 4 ug programs in science, engineering, management, and agriculture. Additionally, It provides some diploma programs. Admissions 2024 at University

The steps to apply for admission to University are as follows.

Step 2: For PG and Ph.D. courses, click on PG Admission Notification.
Step 3: After being taken to a new page, you can click the application link for the course you want to take.
Step 4: Fill out the form carefully after downloading it.
Step 5: The applicant must complete a different application for every course they wish to apply to.
Step 6: Submit the form to the university with a bank draft (DD) made payable to The Comptroller, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, payable at Guntur, for each course, for INR 1200/-for General and INR 600/-for SC, ST, & PH categories (M.Sc. / Ph.D. courses) in favor of SBH / SBI / ANDHRA BANK.

Library: There are 11 libraries located at the university's main campus. The University Librarian oversees the operation of the libraries. Assistant Librarians are responsible for the College Libraries and Regional Libraries. Some e-materials are being made available online in addition to print materials. Hostels: The university offers 21 hostels for boys and 19 hostels for girls, with separate accommodations for boys and girls. with 3220 pupils' worth of accommodations available.
