In Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Acharya Nagarjuna University was founded in 1976 by Shri Fakruddin Ali Ahmed, the former President of India. 68 UG and graduate courses in engineering, science, arts, pharmacy, sports, and architecture are offered by the institution. Additionally, it offers Ph.D. and M.Phil. programs in 48 fields across 6 campus institutions. The districts of Krishna, Guntur, and Prakasm are home to its 450 associated colleges. University received "A" grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It takes up 3 hundred acres of space. The university has 500 enrolled students. According to the NIRF Ranking 2023, University is rated 63rd in the pharmacy category. With over 15,000 students, 200+ projects, and 66 patents, the university is heavily focused on research.

Admissions 2024 at University

Admission to University in 2024 is determined by merit. JEE Mains and AP EAPCET scores are used to determine admission to B.Tech programs. For B.Sc. and B.Pharma, the university also accepts merit in the AP EAPCET. The only factor used to determine admission to the B.Arch program is a candidate's NATA performance. The university administers the ANU Engineering Entrance Test (ANUEET) in order to grant admission for B.Tech + M.Tech, B.Des, and B.Plan programs. The basis for admission to all other UG courses is the grade a student received on their final qualifying exam. The University PG Common Entrance Test (ANUPGCET) is administered by the institute for PG courses. AP ICET is the basis for admission to MBA and MCA programs.
