IIT Hyderabad - Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, India's Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad is a public technological research institute located in the Sangareddy region of Telangana. IITH is an Institute of National Importance (INI) that was founded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2008. The 30+ UG and PG programs offered by University accept applicants based on their performance on a variety of national entrance tests. In order to be considered for admission to the prestigious B.Tech program at University, prospective students must pass the JEE Advanced exam and then participate in JOSAA counselling. University`s seat distribution is managed by JOSAA, which assigns seats in 6 rounds according to JEE Advanced rank, available seats, category, and other factors. Life and Events of Campus at the University

The campus of University occupies 576 acres. The academic building was developed by ARCOP, a firm based in New Delhi, while the dormitory was created by renowned American architect Prof. Christopher Charles Benninger of Pune. Groups of buildings make up this organic campus, which started construction in 2011 and is now being completed in phases. The campus is one of India's best instances of carbon-neutral, environmentally beneficial architecture. The plan changed in response to the local weather, and learning was given top priority.

The graduate and PG programs, the residences for teachers and students, and the hostels for women and men are all separated to create a multicultural atmosphere. In March 2019, the 25 lakh square feet of Phase 1A's structures—which included ten functioning dormitories and 3 academic buildings—were completed.
