Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad

The first technological university in India, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUH Hyderabad), was established in 1972. Situated in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, JNTUH boasts an expansive 89-acre campus. It currently has fifteen constituent units on the Hyderabad campus in addition to four constituent engineering colleges in Hyderabad, Kondagattu (Jagithyal), Manthani, and Sultanpur (Medak Dist.). The university holds AICTE and UGC approval in addition to NAAC accreditation with a grade of "A." According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023, University is ranked 83rd in the Engineering Category.

Courses in B.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Sc., MCA, and MBA are available at University. It also provides integrated dual degree master's programs lasting 5 years. Entrance exams such as the TS EAMCET, TS ECET, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and GATE are used to determine admission to JNTUH. After being chosen based on their entrance exam results, students receive counselling calls. In addition, the university holds entrance examinations at the university level for students wishing to enrol in M.Sc., Part-time M.Tech., M.Sc., MBA, PGDNT, External Ph.D., M.Phil., M.S. According to the official website's NIRF Report, the University Median Package for a B.Tech student is INR 6.25 LPA. Additionally, the average package that is provided to M.Tech students is INR 8 LPA. During the B.Tech and M.Tech Placement 2023, respectively, 1100 students were placed out of 1220 students and 600 students out of 720 students.

Library:

University has a central library with 93,441 books and subscribes to 187 print publications in the sciences and technology sectors that are published both nationally and internationally. Additionally, the library has 3533 e-books from Springer available. It also offers remote access to more than 30,560 e-journals and databases, as well as IP-authenticated internet access.

Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium and UGC Auditorium, with seating capacities of 1050 and 330 respectively, are JNTUH's two auditoriums, which are used for convocations, conferences, workshops, university and college ceremonies, etc.

Seminar and Conference Halls:

Depending on the need to hold national and international conferences, workshops, and mini-workshops, the university offers a number of electronic seminar halls and mini-seminar halls for various conference or event sizes. A micro seminar hall can only hold 15–35 people at a time, but an electronic seminar hall can hold 350–700 people at a time.

Sports Complex:

University offers its students access to a sports complex that includes a variety of sports courts, including basketball, volleyball, badminton, cricket, football, and Kho Kho.

The EDC offers a range of programs to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among technically educated graduates and PG from the faculties of Science, Engineering & Technology, and Pharmacy.
