Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad

A parliamentary act founded Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in 1998 made it a Central University. The University campus and administrative offices are located in Hyderabad, Telangana State's Gachibowli on 200 acres. At the moment, MANUU offers 97 programs in conventional and distant learning modalities. Furthermore, Industrial Training Institutes (08 Certificate Trades) offer vocational education. Through the use of a Choice Based Credit System, University provides a flexible academic framework. Additionally, the course offerings of its programs are regularly updated. University operates in 13 Indian states. Nearly 5,000 students are enrolled in various academic programs across campuses.

The Institute has received two 'A' grades from the NAAC and is ranked as the 24th best central university in India by Outlook - ICARE rankings 2020.

Currently, the University's DDE provides 2 diploma and certificate programs in addition to 5 undergraduate, 6 graduate, and 1 PG course.

The online application process is required to be considered for admission to any of the courses. Merit-based admissions are determined by entrance exams specific to each course.

Undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programs are available at University in a number of subject areas. University Entrance exam results, or CUET UG results, are used to determine admission to UG programs. Admission to PG programs is determined by the applicant's merit in the qualifying exam or by the results of the University entrance exam. For MBA/MCA/BTech Lateral Entry and B.Ed/M.Ed programs, respectively, the University also accepts scores from the AICTE Entrance Test and the NCTE Entrance Test. University Admission to the Ph.D. program is determined by the university's entrance exam and interview.

The median wage package for UG (3 years) and UG (4 years) students for University Placement 2024 was INR 2.40 LPA and INR 4.00 LPA, respectively, according to the University NIRF overall report 2023. Additionally, PG (2 Years) and PG (3 Years) had median packages of INR 3.8 LPA and INR 3.6 LPA, respectively. The BBC, Amazon, Akshara E Centre, Accenture, Data Core India Pvt Ltd, Galpha Laboratories, Genpact, and Globsyn Technologies were among the top employers during University Placement 2024.

Admission at University

University provides UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs in a range of subject areas. The results of the University Entrance Exam or the CUET UG exam determine admission to UG programs. The entrance exam scores administered by University or the qualifying exam's merit are used to determine admission to the postgraduate program. For MBA/MCA/B.Tech Lateral Entry and B.Ed/M.Ed programs, respectively, it also accepts scores from the AICTE Entrance Test and the NCTE Entrance Test. Application Procedure at University

• Go to the University's official webpage.
• In the upper right corner of the website, select the Admission tab.
• From the entrance tab selection list, pick the preferred choice.
• Select the 'Register' menu item.
• Make sure to complete all the required fields while registering.
• A confirmation email with the Registration Id and Password will be sent to the registered email address after all the information has been completed.
• Enter your registration ID and password to log in now. Finish filling out the application form in its entirety.
• Use a credit/debit card or net banking to pay the application fees.
• Submit in the application.

Note: Students enrolled in courses that rely on entrance exams must download their admit cards and appear for the exam at the stated time and day. If this isn't done, the application can be cancelled.

Results of University

Within a month of the end of the semester exams, MANUU results are posted on the university website. The processes to verify University results are as follows:

• Go to the university's official webpage.
• On the homepage of the website, select "Results."
• The candidate will be executed to the Results page, where a list of the most recent results will appear, after clicking.
• Applicants can click on the exam for the specific course they took to view their results.
• Applicants must submit personal information such as their date of birth and examination roll number.
• The result will display on the screen for the candidate to see after they click the submit button.

The University Campus in Hyderabad is home to buildings for the Office of the Dean Students Welfare, Proctor's Office, Bank, Post Office, Residential Staff Quarters, Polytechnic, ITI, Sports Ground, Indoor Stadium, Central Park, Four Boys' Hostels, 2 Girls' Hostels, 2 Guest Houses, a Health Centre, 5 Auditoriums, and an Open Air Auditorium Complex. Hostel:

The University Campus has separate accommodations for boys and girls. There are 2 hostels for girls and 4 hostels for boys, all of which have basic amenities and wifi.

The University Campus features a Health Centre with all the tools and equipment needed to help students establish excellent physical health, encouraging students to take care of their physical well-being.

Central Library:

One of the key university resources serving the information needs of instructors, researchers, and students is the Central Library on the University Campus. Scholarships and Fellowship for University

Government Scholarships are available from University to deserving students with stellar academic achievements. Through the official portals, students can apply for scholarships offered by Indian government departments and ministries. Below is a list of a few University Scholarships:

Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses in Merit Cum Means
The purpose of this scholarship is to give financially disadvantaged but deserving minority students the opportunity to pursue professional and technical education.

Eligibility:  Students who have passed the previous final exam with at least 50% of the possible marks or an equivalent grade and whose parents' or guardians' yearly income from all sources is no more than INR 2.50 LPA are eligible to receive scholarships.

Scholarship Program for College and University Students in the Central Sector
This grant helps deserving students from low-income families cover some of their ongoing living expenses as they pursue higher education.

Eligibility:

• Students who have achieved a score higher than the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream in Class XII of the 12th pattern or its equivalent from the recognised Board of Examination.
• Instead of pursuing diploma programs or correspondence or online learning, applicants should be pursuing conventional degree programs.
• Candidates should enrol in courses at universities or other establishments approved by the relevant regulatory bodies as well as the All India Council for Technical Education.
• Without taking advantage of any other scholarship programs, such as those offered by the state or fee-waiver and reimbursement programs.
• Students can apply for scholarships under the program if their gross parental/family income is up to INR 4.5 LPA. 

The University Fellowship

For regular Ph.D. research scholars, the University offers the UGC Non-NET Fellowship, which is worth INR 8,000 per month.

Eligibility: Students who follow the MANUU's rules and regulations and have 75% attendance. All financial aid will be contingent upon compliance with UGC and University regulations as well as funding availability.
