Telangana University, Nizamabad

Telangana University is a government University ,located in Nizamabad, Telangana, India. The university was the first in the state to receive UGC approval and established in 2006. In Telangana, it is the 3rd-largest. University has 3 campuses: the Main Campus located in Dichpally, the South Campus situated in Bhiknoor, and the 3rd Campus situated in Sarangapur. The University recently received a "B" accreditation mark from the NAAC.

University provides B.Ed. and LLB programs at the UG level. The University Entrance Test (TUCET), also known as the TS EDCET and TS LAWCET tests, is used to determine admission to UG programs at University. The university provides PG courses in computer applications, science, business, law, and management. The University PG programs accept scores from the TUCET or CPGET, the TS ICET, and the TS PGLCET. Hostel Life:

The Boy's Hostel is located on the University campus around 500 meters away from the College complex. The Boy's Hostel is built with one first story and one lower floor. The ground floor includes a full 54 rooms, while the first floor has 57 rooms distributed across four wings. The hostel has a contemporary water cooler and cleaner built on each floor. There are distinct TV rooms, dining halls, doctor's offices, sick rooms, and reading/library rooms all inside the hostel complex. Inside the hostel, a separate water purification system was established to supply the students with safe drinking water. Additionally, the location of the Girls Hostel and the University College building are close by. First Ground: 3 wings, 44 rooms in 3 wings, the Floor Floor generally has 42 Rooms.

Academic Resources: 

The majestic "Vignana Soudha" Central Library is located within the campus. The building was transformed to accommodate a digital library and computer infrastructure. 13,400 volumes, 165 CD-ROMs, 20 periodicals, and 13 newspapers are available for subscription at the library. All faculty members and students have access to the university library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Together with the most recent reference books and collected volumes, the library offers a wide selection of books for reading. Books are also available on a wide range of subjects, including general English and computers. The institution provides fully furnished research facilities and labs with all the equipment required. A computer research lab featuring 6 frameworks is another alluring aspect of its location.

Extra-Curriculars:

Various sporting events, competitions, and competitive programs are centered on the university campus. The multipurpose playground on campus offers facilities for playing cricket, football, volleyball, handball, netball, tennikoit, and athletic activities. Additionally, badminton shuttle courts are located within the University College of Commerce and Business Management Building for men, and the Ladies Hostel for women. The layout of both extramural and intramural competitions guarantees that students can play sports and video games often all through the school year.

Scholarships at University

Telangana Post-matric Scholarship: Students who fall under the SC, ST, BC, EBC, or disabled welfare categories are eligible to apply. At the conclusion of each quarter, they had to have completed class 10th with at least 75% attendance. The scholarship can be used for PG Studies starting in class 11th.

Chief Minister's foreign scholarship: Students from underrepresented groups are eligible to apply. Candidates must be graduates or PG in fields such as engineering, management, pure sciences, humanities, social sciences, agriculture sciences, and medicine and nursing, with a minimum of 60% in these areas. The candidate must be prepared to study for a postgraduate or doctorate in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, or Australia abroad. The family's combined annual income should not exceed INR 2 lakh.

Vidyadhan award Program: Students from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Maharashtra who have completed their class 10 or SSLC are eligible to apply for this award. The family's combined annual income should not exceed INR 2 lakh.
