A parliamentary act created the University of Hyderabad (UOH) as a central university in 1974. It is a unitary university located in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Hyderabad Central University (HCU). All the central universities in India, Hyderabad University has the largest campus space (2500 acres), second only to Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The university has a "A" accreditation from the NAAC and is acknowledged by the UGC as an Institute of Eminence. In the "University" category of the NIRF rankings, it is placed 10th among the best universities in India.
Hyderabad University is renowned for its strong staff and excellent research, with a primary focus on PG study. The institution comprises more than 400 academic members, more than 5,000 students, and more than 40 departments spread throughout 12 schools of study. The University of Hyderabad provides over 100 programs that span from postgraduate diplomas and integrated master's degrees to doctoral studies. All course admissions at the University of Hyderabad are determined by the results of the national entrance exam, which is followed by a personal interview and counseling. Admissions at University

Application Procedure for University
Step 1: Registration: All courses offered on campus at the institution need registration, which typically opens in May or June and runs through August. Nonetheless, the MBA and M.Tech admissions process begins a little bit sooner than the PG and Integrated PG programs, immediately following the announcement of the entrance exam results. Step 2: Interviews: In order to be admitted to certain PG, Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D., and Ph.D. programs, candidates must personally interview with the university. Step 3: Merit List: The university will make available a list of shortlisted applicants for counseling based on the results of the admission exam and, if relevant, interviews.
Step 4: Admission Counseling: On the specified date, shortlisted candidates are required to go to the campus for admission counseling. Those who are given a seat offer will also need to have their documentation verified. The following documents are needed:
Step 5: Final entrance: After their documents are verified, candidates who are admitted must pay the entrance fee. Following the successful completion of the fee payment, admission will be granted. The admission fee for the first semester of the course is INR 8790/-for all candidates (PH excluded). The needed payment for all PH aspirants is INR 5,230.
