Vikrama Simhapuri University

A public state university, Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) offers PG, integrated master's, and doctoral programs in a range of disciplines through its three constituent colleges. Selection of the courses include BFA, diploma, M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.Ed., M.P.Ed., MSW, Integrated M.Sc., MBA, and Ph.D. programs.

In order to be admitted to graduate programs, students must take the VSU PGCET entrance exam. The counseling process is the sole step before the final selection. Based on their results in the previous exam, students are admitted to the integrated programs.In order to be admitted to the Ph.D. program, candidates must pass the APRCET and then be interviewed. The application form can be completed online and then submitted personal or by mail to the university office.

A specialized placement unit at university works to place students in prestigious international corporations. Through job and entrepreneurial coaching, the university helps students find work. University has created a fairly affordable tuition structure, with some government assistance (scholarships) available to normal course students.

Placements to University

The placement unit at University, Nellore, is actively involved in helping students advance their careers. The university offers placement help, counseling for employment and social entrepreneurship, instruction and training for the development of desired skills necessary for a suitable work profile or higher education, and training for all of its registered placement cell students. In order to help students realize their ideal professional path, the placement cell assists them in integrating career challenges into an academic setting.
