Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar
University (RGU), Itanagar was founded in 1984 in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. University was previously known as Arunachal University. The university is located at the summit of Rono Hills, and its campus covers 302 acres of land. It is located 6.5 kilometers from National Highway 52-A and 25 kilometers from the state capital, Itanagar. The campus is connected to the National Highway through the Dikrong bridge. According to a notice issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, the institution became a central university in 2007.
