Admissions at University

University allots seats based on the merit list or the rank attained in the university's Entrance Exam. Each course's eligibility criteria differs. Let's look at the common eligibility conditions for admission:

• The UG candidate must have finished 12th exams with at least 45% in Mathematics, Chemistry, or Physics. In addition, students from reserved groups receive a 5% mark reduction in accordance with university regulations.
• PG or master's candidate must have graduated in any stream from a recognized college or university.
• The fundamental selection criterion is based on the merit list, while some courses require entrance exam scores.
• Candidates can apply online.

• After registration, students must pay the fees using Netbanking, Debit Card (Visa, Master, Maestro), Credit Card, or other methods as available.
• After that, an acknowledgement slip is generated. The candidate must download the acknowledgment slip for future reference.

Placements at University

University has a well-established Training and Placement Cell, which is an essential component of the university. The goal of this training and placement cell is to provide appropriate guidance and help to graduates and PG students. It arranges numerous pre-placement presentations, group discussions, written tests, personal interviews, and other activities to ensure that students understand the recruitment procedure used by many firms. The University has cooperated with 42 organizations to provide winter and summer industrial training.

Aside from this, over 50 well-known organizations have visited in previous years to hire students through a placement drive. Companies that visited University in 2018-19 included Infosys, Cognizant Technologies Solutions Corporation, Value Labs, Subex, Oil India Limited, Numaligarh Refinery Ltd., ONGC, Go Speedy Go, Decathlon, Bitchem Asphalt Technologies Limited, and Capgemini.

Hostels: University has 16 hostels with limited capacity. University exclusively offers dorm facilities to eligible, outstanding students.

Auditorium and Conference Hall: University has a large auditorium that can hold 1200 students at once. All cultural activities and events are hosted in the auditorium 'Rangghar'.The hall is used to host seminars and symposiums.

Student Day Care Center: Extracurricular activities such as singing and dancing practices, drama rehearsals, book fairs, and photo exhibitions are held here.

Sports: University offers a variety of sports facilities to both boys and girls students. It features 2 playgrounds (cricket, football, and track fields), 1 indoor stadium, a gymnasium hall, 2 multi-station gyms, one pavilion,3 table tennis courts, and 2 basketball courts, among other things.
