Chanakya National Law institution (CNLU) is an autonomous institution founded in 2006. The university is accredited by the University Grants Commission and the Bar Council of India. University is ranked 35th out of 40 colleges in India by IIRF for 2024. The institution has inked Memorandums of Understanding with Vistula institution in Poland and Valley State University in the United States to improve legal education and research while also providing practical experience for students and faculty. 

Eligible applicants can enroll in BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), LLM, PG Diploma, Ph.D., and LLD programmes at university. The University Campus, which spans 18 acres of land, provides great infrastructure for its students. Some facilities available at the university are as follows:

• The university library is located on the ground floor of the 3-story building 'Nishant Nilayam'. It owns more than 14000 volumes and subscribes to over 23 Indian and foreign publications. The library is expansive, large, air-conditioned, and well equipped with modern facilities and resources such as CD-ROMs, online databases, books, e-journals, reports, and theses.
• Moot Court: University holds mock court procedures for students. It is an extracurricular activity that entails creating memorials or memoranda and participating in oral arguments.
• Sports: The university includes on-campus facilities for volleyball, basketball, soccer, badminton, table tennis, and cricket.
• Hostel: Separate accommodations for boys and girls are offered on campus. Both the boys' and girls' hostels have wireless internet access, a biometric attendance system, a warm water geyser, safe drinking water through RO and water cooler, a gymnasium within the hostels, and a television with subscribed channels in the dining hall.
• Cafeteria: As a residential campus, the University caters to all of the students' eating needs. There is also a canteen on campus that serves snacks, tea, coffee, and stationery.
