Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai

Situated in Chhattisgarh, India, Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) is a state technical university. Pragati Scholarship Program for Female Learners

This MHRD program is designed to help girls who are pursuing technical education advance. 

Scholarship Amount:     A tuition fee of Rs. 30,000/-or actual, whichever is less, plus Rs. 2000/-per month for 10 months as annual incidentals. In the event that there is a waiver of the tuition fees, a car, or a charge for a competitive exam or application.

Eligibility:

• The candidate must be admitted through the State/Central Government's Centralised Admission process to the first year of the degree or diploma program at any AICTE-approved institution for that year.
• Families with 2 girls under the age of 8 years old whose income is less then INR 8 LPA in the previous fiscal year are eligible.

The selection criteria for any Technical Degree/Diploma course at any AICTE-approved institution are determined by the merits holds in the qualifying examination.

Reservation: 27% for OBC candidates/applicants, 7.5% for ST, and 15% for SC candidates.

Saksham Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities

Children with exceptional needs are encouraged and supported to go after technical education through this MHRD program. 

Scholarship Amount: A tuition fee of Rs. 30,000/-or actual, whichever is less, plus Rs. 2000/-per month for ten months as annual incidentals. In the event that there is a waiver of the tuition fees, a car, or a charge for a competitive exam or application.

Qualifications: 

Through the Centralised Admission process of the State/Central Government, applicants should be admitted to the first year of the degree/diploma program at any of the AICTE-approved institutions of the corresponding year.

They must be a Specially Abled Student with a disability of at least 40% and a family income from the previous fiscal year of no more than INR 8 LPA.

The selection criteria for any Technical Degree/Diploma course at any AICTE-approved institution are determined by the merits earned in the qualifying examination.
