Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur

Ghasidas Guru Located in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur district, Vishwavidyalaya, formerly known as Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), is a central university. GGU, one of the biggest and oldest universities in Chhattisgarh, was founded in 1983. Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Management, and many other subjects are among the many programs that University provides at the UG, PG, PhD, Diploma, and Certificate levels. 

Among its highest-ranked programs are the B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA degrees offered by university. Most university UG and graduate programs need admission through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), which is administered by the NTA. Admissions 2024 at University

Candidate's CUET, UG, and PG scores are considered for admission to university. Within its 32 departments, the government university provides approximately 200 course options. Additionally, a variety of academic fields are covered in the courses, including business, humanities, pharmacy, and biological sciences. Furthermore, University offers a wide range of doctoral or Ph.D. programs. The Vishwavidyalaya Research Entrance Test is used to determine who gets admitted to Ph.D. programs (VRET). Results of University

Every year, the University conducts exams in the months of May through June and November through December. Enrolled students can use the instructions listed below to check their University results on the official website:

Students at University have access to good placement possibilities. The university's highest median package was INR 4 LPA. With 655 acres of land dedicated to its campus, University offers a plethora of facilities for its students. For its students, the university offers facilities like a medical centre, a central library, dorms, bus services, a functional cafeteria, and more. Hostel:    University offers 3 hostels for boys and 3 for girls, each with comfortable furnishings, to accommodate its students. University provides its students with a large hostel facility that has more than 1500 beds. Students must submit application forms in order to be considered for the hostels.

Computer Centre :      Founded in 1990, the computer centre provides the institution with a head start. It boasts more than 50 computers and fast, reliable broadband connectivity. Anytime they would like to use the computer centre, students are welcome to come by. 

Health Centre:      University serves as a medical officer with support staff stationed at the university, taking care of the health of students, staff members, and non-teaching personnel. It offers 24-hour medical care and ambulance services seven days a week.

Bus Service:     University offers its staff and students the best transport options between the campus and Nehru Chowk. 

Cafeteria:       Both guests and students at University have access to a well-run cafeteria.
