At the UG, PG, Diploma, and PG Diploma levels, the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) University, offers career-oriented educational programs. In the fields of science and technology, information technology, and management, there are 15 programs available in various disciplines. 

In accordance with the University Grants Commission Act of 1956, the HRD Ministry has designated University, as the Deemed University. The institute, which was founded in 1984, is a non-profit organisation that is registered under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 Fasli (Act I of 1350 F). University, has been accredited by AICTE and UGC and is a member of AIU, New Delhi.

This educational facility, which spans more over 30 acres, is situated at Kumhari, District-Durg. It features academic buildings with modern facilities audio-visual equipment in each classroom, as well as facilities with a fully furnished computer centre, labs, and library.

Programs:     10 UG, 3 graduate, and 2 certificate programs are available at the institute. Students must have 50% of their previous academic record in aggregate to be admitted. 

Scholarship:     University offers merit scholarships determined by previous academic standing and performance throughout the course of a semester. In addition to the scholarship based on previous academic record, up to 10% of the batch's students will receive merit scholarships depending on their performance during the semester. 

Industry Interaction:   Each year, the institute partners with the industry to host a summer internship that gives students a chance to demonstrate to top recruiters their communication and organisational skills, analytical aptitude, and understanding of current concerns. University boasts robust industry-academia relations and a wide range of internship opportunities. 

Placement:    Training and placement operations are managed by University's placement cell, which operates around the clock, full-time. Aditya Birla Group, Cognisant, Deloitte, DE Shaw, TCS, Times of India, and numerous other companies are the main employers.

Application Procedure 2023

Online Application: Using secure online payment gateway, candidates can apply online by completing the Application Form found at www.iuraipur.edu.in and paying INR 500 for the application fee with a credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Internet Banking). When completing the online application, applicants must upload a colour photo the size of a passport. Such applicants will receive a copy of the Prospectus. 

The download of Application Form:  The application form can be downloaded from. Applicants can fill it out online and submit it to the admissions office along with a demand draft for INR 500, payable to "The ICFAI University, Raipur - Fee Collection A/c," to cover the application fee. 

Complete the Application Form:  Applicants can fill in the application form given on Page 3 and send it to the Admissions Office.

Essential Records: The following certificates, in self-attested copies, must be enclosed with the application: 

• Certificate of Date of Birth or Class 10th Certificate
• Class 12th marks papers or a degree certificate, if applicable
• Domicile Certificate in the event that the applicants are Chhattisgarh residents

Scholarships for Students

Scholarships are one form of financial support that the institution offers to worthy students who have achieved high academic standing. Scholarships offered by ICFAI University come in two varieties. Information about the available scholarships is as follows: 

Merit Scholarship Determined on Previous Academic Performance:   The amount of the scholarship will be determined by the percentage of graduation for PG programs and class 12th (or similar) marks for UG programs. As long as the student maintains a minimum GPA of 6.0 each semester, the scholarship will be awarded each semester.
