MATS University, Raipur

The government of Chhattisgarh established the private institution MATS institution, Raipur, which is operated by the Shri Bhagwan Mahavir Jain Education and Cultural Society. The university was founded in 2006. The university has 2 campuses: the main campus is located on 130 acres of lush, green land in Aarang, on the outskirts of Raipur, with excellent access to public transportation, and the other campus is located in the city centre, close to Pandri Bus Stand. The university has received approval from AIU, BCI, NCTE, AICTE, and UGC. The university has a B++ grade and is accredited by the NAAC. The Hon'ble Chancellor Sir of MATS University received a Super Indian Award in 2023 for his exceptional work in the sphere of higher education.

Through its 14 schools or academic divisions, the university provides various diploma, UG, PG, and doctorate programs. It currently has more than 17,000 students enrolled in regular and distance learning programs, pursuing UG and graduate degrees. The institute grants admission to the B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA programs based on the results of entrance exams like JEE, CG-PET, MU-PET, GATE, CAT, MAT, and XAT, among others. The CAT cutoff for the MBA program stayed at the 70 percentile for students in the general category during the 2023 admissions session. Additionally, the university places eligible students each year; according to placement records, the biggest package is INR 10 LPA. Several well-known companies that hire for the institute are Reliance Trends, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Cipla, Pantaloons, etc.

Scholarships for Students

Under the Chancellor Scholarship Scheme, the university provides 1st-year students with a variety of scholarships. For the first year, UG students who are accepted into the university's MBA program are eligible to receive INR 20,000. Some of these scholarships are described below:

• 10% of the annual fee is due to MATS siblings (for one student).
