Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU), the oldest and largest university in Chhattisgarh, was founded in 1964. University is ranked 151-200 among the best universities in India by NIRF 2023 and has a "B++" accreditation from the NAAC. The institution occupies a sprawling 300.16-acre campus in Raipur, the western region of Chhattisgarh's city. There are 100 faculty members and more than 5000 students enrolled at University.
