One of the well-known universities in Delhi is Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University (AUD). Kashmere Gate, Lodhi Road, and Karampura are the three conveniently located campuses of Ambedkar University, which was founded in 2007. The campuses of university are dispersed over around 11.5 acres.

UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs in liberal arts, social sciences, and humanities are available at Ambedkar University. For all UG and PG programs, University admissions are determined by the results of the CUET UG and PG exams, respectively. Ambedkar University's major programs are the BA (Hons), BBA, and MBA.

University provides financially disadvantaged and deserving students with up to 100% scholarships, with an NAAC approved "A" grade. Cutoff 2024 at University

The university cutoff for all UG and PG programs in 2024 has not yet been announced. University (AUD) admissions cutoffs are determined on the results of the CUET exam. Admission is provided to those who meet the university's minimum cutoff score. 

Admissions for University

Entrance examinations such as the CUET UG and PG are used for university admission. AUD offers a wide range of UG programs, such as BA LLB, BFA, BPA, B.Voc, BA, B.Com, B.Tech, and so on. 

In addition to others, these fields include the Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, Management studies, Science, Performing Arts, Law, Agricultural Science, Medical subjects, The eligibility varies based on the kind of course. Still, it usually ranges from 45% to 50%. 

And currently admissions to AUD UG courses are given based on the candidates' CUET scores. Students' CUET PG and Graduation scores will be considered for university PG programs. In addition, the university conducts interviews, written examinations, research ideas, and master's degree results for admitting students to Ph.D. programs.

Steps to Apply for Admissions

Candidates can apply online for UG or graduate programs at the esteemed University in Delhi. 

To submit a form online, follow these steps:

• Only applicants using login credentials, such as their CUET application number, may access their CUET admission portal.
• Go to University official website.
• Locate the Online Application Form by clicking on the Admission Link.
• Students have to select the course they want to take.
• Students who register using the mail will get a password in the mail.
• Go back to the tab with the online application. And enter the right login information as a registered user. 
• Carefully fill out the form and attach any supporting documentation.
• Click submit after playing the application fee.
• After receiving copy of your properly completed application, click "download report PDF."
• The application fee may only be paid by students using online payment methods. 
  

Scholarships for Students

Students from the economically disadvantaged sector are eligible for both full and partial scholarships from university. Particularly for students whose household income is less than Rs. 6 lakh per year, there is no tuition fees. The Sub-divisional magistrate or Tehsildar must deliver an updated income certificate to the economically disadvantaged sector. 

Students from the reserved category (SC, ST, and PwD) are also awarded 100% scholarships by University.  

Scholarship based on merit: 

Support given to deserving students at University in Delhi on the basis of merit. These financial help programs are available to students with strong academic records. In general, it comes with a certificate of recognition and fees between INR 16,000 and INR 4,000. Furthermore, only rank holders and students with exceptional performance are eligible for this scholarship.

At University, the scholarship application process is simple. When applying for scholarships, candidates must fill out the online form completely and send it in with their current certifications and supporting documentation at the time of admission. The following documents are needed:

Placements to University

Students can attend monthly sessions led by Ambedkar University's Training and Placement cell. Before taking the placement exam, it provides training to learners. 73 students were placed in 2022. Over 50 learners who enrolled in PG studies were placed in reputable companies. Additionally, 14 UG department students were placed with additional advantages. Opportunities for internships and placements are frequently presented for the benefit of students.

UG students annual packages have increased by 25% when compared to previous year's data. In addition, PG students received 24% increase in their yearly CTC. 

In addition, annual packages for graduates and PG should be anticipated to range from 3 to 4.5 LPA, respectively. The available packages are also based on the course and ability level.
