Delhi Technological University

Delhi Technological institution, commonly referred to as DTU Delhi, is a prestigious technological institution situated in Rohini, Delhi, and was founded in 1941. The NBA and NAAC have awarded the university a "A" grade for accreditation. Additionally, it has ISO certification and UGC and AICTE approval. The University of Delhi was the university's former associate. According to the NIRF Ranking 2023, University is rated 61st under the Overall category, 40th under the University (Overall) category and 29th under the Engineering category. 

University provides more than 60 courses throughout its 17 departments. The most popular university courses are the MBA and B.Tech programs. The JEE Main results will determine university B.Tech admission in 2024, with JAC Delhi counselling coming next. University B.Tech CSE cutoff for Round 1 is 3440 GNGNO and 8336 GNGND in 2024. Valid CAT/MAT score is required for MBA admission at university, and this is verified by personal interview. The average package for the MBA program was INR 9.02 LPA, while the maximum package was INR 23.78 LPA.

Courses at University

B.Tech: 

 With 2515 seats available, Delhi Technological University provides B.Tech program with 16 specialisations. Candidates must appear for JAC Delhi Counselling if they have 60% marks and valid JEE Main cutoff. The most popular B.Tech program is in computer science and technology, for which the OS category's JEE Main Cutoff is still approximately 4876. Admission to the BTech Lateral Entry program is offered as per the DTU LEET score.

M.Tech:

A GATE score is considered for admission to the university M.Tech program, which offers 28 specialisations. There are 1071 available spots in the program, and the 1st year's tuition is INR 1.69 lakhs (about). The range of GATE scores required for admission to university M.Tech is 357 to 251, contingent upon program popularity and level of competition. 

MBA:

Through the Delhi School of Management, university provides the MBA program. 13 MBA courses in all, with 466 places available. The fees are INR 2.12 lakhs for the 1st year. The program's admission is determined by the applicant's CAT/MAT score. To participate in the counselling and seat assignment procedure, candidates must register on the CMAC Delhi admissions page. The university MBA program requires an 85 percentile CAT cutoff.

MSc:

University also provides admission for M.Sc programs in biotechnology, physics, and mathematics. For each program, 40 seats are given. For entrance to the M.Sc degree, university accepts CUET PG scores. The Institute offers 2-year PG program called DTU M.Sc. The MSc program at university has 1st-year fees of INR 42,200.

BBA:

Admission to DTU's 3-year BBA program is determined on CUET scores. For BBA admission, candidates must register on the CMAC portal. There are 182 candidates in the program.

B.Des:

University offers a 120-seat B.Des program, of which 85% are set aside for students from Delhi. Admissions are made based on UCEED score, and the program lasts 4 years. 

BA(Hons)/MA:

University offers 182 seats for the BA (Hons.) Economics program, with admittance determined by CUET UG Score. There are 60 spots available for this course, and entrance to the MA Economics program is determined by CUET PG scores.

M.Des:

Admission to DTU's 2-year M.Des program is determined by CEED scores. Candidates that make the cut must then go through an interview and the Design Aptitude Test. The university M.Des program offers 5 specialisations: interaction design, lifestyle accessory design, M.Des product design, M.Des transportation and service design, and visual communication. The intake for the degree is 75 students.

EMBA:

University provides programs in data science and analytics and general executive MBAs. Classes for 2-year Executive MBA (General) program are offered online. The 21-month Exectuive MBA (DSA) program is available in a hybrid format. Selection to both the courses is based on Work Experience, Academic Performance and Personal Interview.

Ph.D.:

The GATE score is the basis for university Ph.D. admissions, and the program's initial year fees INR 29,700.

Placements to University

DTU recorded 1990 placement offers in the 2023 placements; unversity Placement 2024 has not yet been completed. Out of the 2684 participants, 1821 pupils were assigned in these groups. The following lists the main features of university Placements:

• University B.Tech (COE) batch received the greatest package, valued INR 82.05 LPA, while the average package for this batch was INR 23.70 LPA.
• The University MBA (USME) package with the greatest value was INR 23.78 LPA, while the average package was INR 9.02 LPA.
• The average package was INR 19.58 LPA for the M.Tech program. The largest package for the M.Tech (AFI) cohort was INR 51.03 LPA.
• University has previously hired people from a variety of companies, including Siemens, Adobe, BCG, Flipkart, Samsung, Amazon, and Microsoft. 

Scholarships for Students
