Scholarships for Students

Scholarships from IIIT Delhi are given to students according to their need and merit. The institute offers 3 scholarships in STEAM education: the Chairman's Scholarship, the Income-Linked Fee Waiver Scholarship, and the Women Empowerment Scholarship. The information about the IIIT Delhi scholarships is mentioned below:

Chairman's Scholarship:     Under this program, scholarships are given to students based on their JEE Mains score. Every Delhi student who places lower than 1000 in the JE Mains will receive a scholarship that covers 100% of their tuition fees. 50% of the tuition expenses for students who place between 1000 and 2000 in the JEE Mains will be awarded as scholarships.

Women Empowerment Scholarship in STEAM Education:      50% of the tuition for the top 100 female students who were admitted to the IIIT Delhi B.Tech program and achieved an aggregate score of more than 95% in class 12 will be given this scholarship. Students who receive this scholarship, however, will not be qualified for any other government-funded scholarships. 

Income-based fee waiver Scholarship:      IIIT Delhi students who meet the eligibility requirements can get fee waivers under the income-linked fee waiver scholarship. Parents of the students who come under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) are awarded a 100% fee waiver. 50% of the tuition fees will be waived for students whose family income is up to INR 6 Lakhs and whose most recent school fees were less than INR 25,000 annually. However, 25% tuition price remission will be granted to learners whose household income falls between INR 6 and 8 lakhs and whose most recent school fees were less than INR 45,000 annually.

Campus at University

Phase III of the Okhla Industrial Area in New Delhi is located to the IIIT Delhi campus. The campus spans 25 acres. The location has residence halls, a dining hall, a library and an academic building. The campus has zero discharge, GRIHA accreditation, and is outfitted with solar power plants on the terraces of all new buildings, heat pumps, rainwater collection systems, and sewage treatment plants.
