Ganpat University, Mehsana

Ganpat institution is a private institution located in the Mehsana district of Gujarat, India. It is established in 2005, is located across 300 acres of land and is accredited by the UGC and AICTE. It is a member of the AIU, ACU, FICCI, AIMA, CII, IAU, and other notable organisations. The university is recognised with a "A" grade by NAAC and placed 101 in the "Overall" category by NIRF Innovation Ranking 2023.

The university provides various courses, the most popular courses are B.Tech and MBA programs. University give admission to students based on their admission exam scores and previous qualifying examination results. University accepts GUJCET and JEE Main results for B.Tech admission. Students considering admission to University must meet the minimal qualifying criteria set by the university for that specific subject. University's admission process is based on the Gujarat Government's ACPC counselling and the university's own online centralised assignment system. The seat allotment method only depends on merit in previous qualifying examinations as well as scores from national and state-level entrance tests such as GUJCET, JEE Main, NATA, CAT, MAT, and CMAT. 

• 75% seats for University Course Admission are filled through ACPC counselling based on the rank obtained in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET), with the remaining seats filled through management quota counselling based on the rank obtained in JEE Main.

The university offers various facilities accessible to meet the needs of both students and teachers. Some examples are as follows:

Smart Classrooms:    The institution has various classrooms, some of which use smartboards. They are equipped with an LCD projector, and PCs with Wi-Fi are available on campus.
Sports Complex:   Annual sports programs and everyday events can take place on a basketball court, cricket pitch, football pitch, tennis court, volleyball court, Kabaddi court, hockey field, Kho-Kho court, and handball field.

Library:    University's major library houses a collection of around 1,20,000 printed books. It also offers students a subscription to 500 national and international journals. The library also offers e-resources such as IEEE and JGate.

Labs:    There are around 15 to 20 labs, each equipped with essential equipment and customised to meet the needs and requirements of the students.

Hostel of University

University offers 19 dorms for boys and girls, separated. Each hostel has a separate mess, administrative office, and warden quarter. The university has room for 2500 boys and 1500 girls in hostels.

University now employs about 700 faculty members. Each department has its own Head and Dean, who handle various administrative functions. More than 75 academic members come from top institutions such as IITs, NITs, etc. University has 161 faculty members with Ph.D. degrees.

Scholarships for Students

The University provides merit-based, need-based, student-specific, career-specific, and college-specific scholarships/freeships to students onboard. Every year, the institution awards scholarships of INR 3 crore to around 2000 students. According to university guidelines, the top 3 performers are eligible for scholarships. Other students may apply for the following scholarships available to University students:

• Saksham Scholarship:   Only available for Differently Abled Students having more than 40% disability. The family income should be less than INR 8 lakhs per annum and Students Admitted for first-year Diploma/UG Degree Level Programmes are eligible to apply
• Pragati Scholarship Scheme For Girls Student:   2 Girls Child per family are eligible and the Family income should be less than INR 8 lakhs per annum. Students Admitted in first year Diploma/Undergraduate Degree Level Programmes/Courses in AICTE Approved Institutions are eligible to apply
• Mukhya Mantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojna (Mysy):    Diploma Course: Student must have secured 80 or more Percentile (PR) in 10th and family income must be less than Rs. 6 lakh/annum.  Engineering and Pharmacy Course: Student must have secured 80 or more Percentile (PR) in 12th Science and family income must be less than Rs. 6 lakh/annum.
• Scheme of ‘Merit Cum Means Based Scholarship’ For Students Belonging To The Minority Communities:    The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed INR 2.50 lakhs per annum
